
The whistleblower legislation from a union perspective

The Whistleblower Directive establishes structures for internal handling of misconduct through processes for reporting and handling cases. Depending on how you look at it, it could be a move towards bypassing the union, with its traditional role. Or a step towards making common cause with the union and mobilizing more internal resources to curb work-related problems.
